El cambio en la sociedad demanda a los ciudadanos el aprendizaje de idiomas extranjeros. Este documento plantea el Marco Común Europeo como punto de partida de la revolución linguística que vive el Viejo Continente y, como consecuencia, el territorio español. Se analiza la evolución vivida en Europa y España respecto a la enseñanza de idiomas, así como las iniciativas que Aragón —atendiendo a las recomendaciones/orientaciones europeas que invitan a la enseñanza de idiomas y a la implicación de los Gobiernos de los estados miembros— lleva a cabo para fomentar su aprendizaje y mejorar así el proceso de Enseñanza-Aprendizaje. New social changes currently require citizens to learn foreign languages. Th is paper presents the Common European Framework of Reference as starting point for the language revolution that is taking place in the Old Continent, and by extension, in Spain.
It will analyze the evolution that Europe and Spain have gone through concerning language teaching. It will also refl ect the diverse initiatives carried out in the Community of Aragón to foster and improve teaching- learning processes. Th ese initiatives attend to the current European recommendations & guidelines, which are open to language teaching and to the involvement of Member States Governments.
